Brigham Young University-Idaho invites everyone, young and old, to Education Week. This year, the conference will be held from Thursday, August 1 through Saturday, August 3.

More than 70 teachers will instruct this year’s classes on a wide range of practical topics that anyone could use in day to day living, as well as religious topics that hope to bring joy and peace to those who participate.

BYU-Idaho Education Week also offers engaging experiences for children and youth while they learn principles that will last for a lifetime, given by experienced and well-prepared facilitators. Youth activities are available for those 6-17 years old. The youth program has limited space so register early. Youth may also attend general sessions and youth-focused classes available during regular class hours.

Every year, Education Week has special guests that promise to make the experience even more meaningful. This year’s keynote and devotional speakers include CES instructor Eric Richards, BYU-Idaho Academic Vice President Kelly Burgener, BYU-Idaho Alumni Director Steve Davis, and authors George Durrant and Susan Easton Black.

BYU-Idaho Center Stage will host a special concert for Education Week featuring the Bonner family on Friday, August 2. Expertly crafted vocal harmonies, soulful original songs, and inspiring messages define the music of The Bonner Family. Debra and Harry Bonner served as Baptist missionaries in Africa before becoming members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  In this powerful performance, they and their eight children share the message dearest to their hearts: "We need Him, and He is here." Discount tickets are available to Education Week participants.

Early bird enrollment for Education Week is $35 per individual, $45 after July 27. Children five and under are free.
