Nathan Pacheco will perform Friday, May 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg.
“This will be the first time Pacheco has performed a solo concert at BYU-Idaho,” said Don Sparhawk, coordinator of the Center Stage Performing Arts Series. “He last performed at BYU-Idaho as part of a sold-out Christmas concert in 2016.”
Pacheco is a classically trained tenor who has a passion for reaching out and uplifting people through music.
He has been featured globally in live performances, including touring the United States, Canada and Mexico with Yanni; performing with Latin singing sensation Olga Tañon; touring England, Scotland and Wales with Katherine Jenkins and the National Symphony Orchestra; performing for Prince Charles in conjunction with the British Forces Foundation and the USO; and performing with the San Diego Symphony.
“Introducing Nathan Pacheco” and “Christmas with Nathan Pacheco” began airing on PBS in 2012. He has been featured on multiple Yanni recordings, including “Inspirato,” where he was featured alongside Plácido Domingo, Renée Fleming and other opera stars.
His debut album “Nathan Pacheco” was released in 2012 by Disney Pearl. Shortly after release, it registered as one of the top-ordered classical/crossover discs on iTunes and Amazon. His second album “Nathan Pacheco II” was released on Valentine’s Day 2015.
