Costs and Finances
Estimated Costs
Unfortunately the department has no funding for students participating in this project, Therefore you are responsible for all your own costs.
Expected costs:
Airfare: $800 to $1400, although some fortunate student got theirs for $690
Housing: Hotel costs on day of arrival and prior to leaving is $65 a night, which includes breakfast and transfers to the airport
Housing in Abundancia depends on whether we can rent a house or have to stay in hotels. More info coming soon
Transportation: Depends on the total students traveling to Paraguay, More info coming soon
Food: Food costs are generally cheaper than in the US, there are some restuarants but we plan on getting most of our food from grocery stores which are reasonably priced.
