The Mirari Brass Quintet is comprised of brass innovators with a wide variety of backgrounds. Playing trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba, they strive to elevate brass repertoire to new heights by celebrating contemporary chamber music, actively commissioning new works and demonstrating a high level of musical sensitivity in standard repertoire. Being fluent in all styles of music from classical to jazz, their performances are programmed to be accessible to a wide audience, while opening listeners' imaginations to a world of possibility. It's not uncommon for lines separating genres to be blurred and reshaped during a Mirari Brass Quintet performance. They always seek to inspire and to be inspired. RATING: Classical to jazz
