American soprano Alyson Cambridge is recognized for her beauty of voice, striking stage presence, and musical and dramatic interpretation. She has been hailed by critics as "radiant, vocally assured, dramatically subtle and compelling, and artistically imaginative." The New York Times described her voice as "powerful and clear" and the Washington Post said "radiant, vocally assured, dramatically subtle, compelling, and artistically imaginative." Since receiving the 2003 Grand Prize at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Finals, she has graced the stage of the Met and other leading opera companies and symphony orchestra.
