Scuba Certification
Get scuba certified while attending BYU-Idaho and save yourself some money. Outdoor Activities offers the clinics at less than half the price as others. You will receive your certification from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) once you attend all the clinic times. Must attend all 7 dates below to complete. There will be NO makeup dates available. Limited spots available. Transportation, manual and scuba equipment provided.
Dates: June 12th, June 19th, June 26th (Hart pool)
Time: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Dates: June 18th and June 25th (Class training in Clarke 125)
Time: 6:30pm-9:30pm
Dates: June 27th and July 9th (Open water dives)
Time: 4-9pm
Cost: $ 250.00
Meet at : Hart Swimming Pool on June 12th in swimming gear. Shirts are recommend to protect your shoulders with gear on.

Due to Divers License Agreement, we can not allow friends or family members to attend clinics who are already certified. Friends or family members are allowed to attend to watch but are not able to participate and/or be in the water or travel with the clinic participants.
We hope to see you on the next trip with the Outdoor Activities Department. Please remember that only students or spouse of students can participate.
