We now have 4 different scuba options to choose from! Three are brand new Spring semester.

Scuba Certification
Get scuba certified while attending BYU-Idaho and save yourself some money. Outdoor Activities offers the clinics at less than half the price as others. You will receive your certification from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) once you attend all the clinic times. Must attend all 7 dates to complete. Limited spots available. Transportation, manual and equipment provided.

Scuba Discovery
Are you worried about scuba diving and are not sure if your ears can take the pressure or fear of water? Do you want to just try scuba for 1 night to see if the certification will be worth the price? Then take this discovery clinic and choose your comfort level. For 1 night, you can come and get the basics of scuba by certified instructors followed by diving in the pool. Discover for yourself your inner strength. All equipment provided.

Scuba Refresh 
Are you currently scuba certified but haven't dived for over a year or just want a little reminder course? Then the refresh clinic is perfect for you. For 1 night, certified PADI instructors will offer this refresh course to help you remember the basics of scuba and get sometime diving in the pool. All equipment provided.

Scuba Trip
If you have a current scuba diving certification and want to participate in a open dive in Idaho, then this trip will be excellent for you. There will be no instruction for this trip and certification cards MUST be present to show that you are certified before the trip. If you want to attend the trip but feel that you need a refresher, then sign up for the Scuba Refresh Clinic on June 14. There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on June 20th at 7:00pm in MC 101. Transportation and equipment provided.
