Ralph is a graduate of the University of Utah (1976 Health Science). He has worked as a Community Health Educator for the SW Utah District Health Department, Fund Raiser for the Utah Division of the American Cancer Society and Sales Representative for Thatcher Chemical and 3M Health Information Systems. His church experience includes Missionary (Japan-Okinawa Mission 1969-1971), Deacon, Teacher and Priest Quorum advisor, Scoutmaster, Varsity and Venture Leader, Cubmaster, Young Men President, Counselor in several Bishoprics, High Priest Group Leader, Bishop and Stake High Council. He is presently serving as a teacher of the 11 year-old Primary class, Early Morning Seminary Principal and Ordinance Worker in the Portland Oregon Temple. He enjoys riding bicycles, skiing and making videos for his 10 grandchildren. His goal is to complete a cross country bike ride.
Julia is a graduate of the University of Utah (1974 Journalism). She and Ralph were married in the Provo Temple. They are the parents of 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Julia currently works as a para-educator for the local school district. She has served as ward YW President, Stake YW President, counselor in the Stake Primary presidency, Laurel advisor, Ward RS President, Primary teacher and chorister, early morning Seminary Teacher and is currently serving as RS chorister and Stake Life of Christ assistant chairperson. She loves to walk, hike, travel and spend time with her family.
